Job Description
Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time role spans August 2026 through June 2027, offering weekday hours (35-37.5 hours weekly) in a dynamic educational setting near Vernon Rockville, CT. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral assessment and intervention strategies
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide direct and consultative support to students, staff, and families
- Train and coach school personnel in the implementation of behavioral strategies
- Collect and analyze behavioral data, adjusting plans as needed for student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with compliance for special education services
