Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive elementary school environment. This onsite position runs for the first semester of the academic year, offering the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Current PA SLP Educator Certificate required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience working within school settings
- Strong ability to manage a caseload and provide comprehensive speech and language services
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language intervention to approximately 38 elementary-aged students
- Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation in line with school and state requirements
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Work onsite from 8:15AM to 3:40PM, three days per week, for the specified contract dates
