Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

Hours: 2nd Shift, 2:30 - 10:30 M-F (Rotating Shift on Saturdays, 2:30-6:30)

Compensation: $25/Hour

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in a maintenance or mechanical role supporting equipment repairs and preventative maintenance

Day-to-Day:

A manufacturing client of Insight Global's is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team onsite in Chattanooga, TN. This individual will support day‐to‐day production by performing routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and basic troubleshooting across a wide variety of manufacturing equipment. The role is very hands‐on and focused on keeping machines running efficiently through tasks such as pulling shards, replacing belts and bearings, fixing and extracting bolts, performing motor changes, and replacing sensors and cables. Technicians will complete daily machine inspections and checks, respond to breakdowns, and address mechanical issues as they arise—primarily through straightforward fixes rather than complex rebuilds. A strong understanding of belt systems and belt tracking is key, along with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly to minimize downtime and support smooth plant operations.
