Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
- Previous experience in a school-based environment is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and interventions
- Ability to conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Excellent communication skills, both with students and interdisciplinary teams
- Organized, flexible, and able to manage a dynamic caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ needs and develop intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and guidance
- Adapt strategies to suit diverse student abilities and learning environments
