Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) is required.
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in an elementary school environment preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff.
- Commitment to supporting diverse learners and applying a variety of therapy techniques.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver speech-language therapy to students with identified needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and families to monitor progress and adapt interventions for optimal outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings, provide comprehensive documentation, and maintain compliance with all school and district requirements.
- Engage in regular communication with parents and guardians to foster family involvement and understanding of students’ progress.
- Implement therapy sessions that are both engaging and evidence-based, tailored to elementary school learners.
