Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Inverness, Florida

Step into a rewarding school-based Speech-Language Pathology opportunity serving elementary students in the Inverness, FL area! This full-time, contract role spans the full academic year from August 3, 2026, to May 28, 2027, with students returning August 10. In this in-person position, you'll work closely with a dedicated team—collaborating with two SLPAs and a fellow SLP to share caseload responsibilities across two elementary campuses. This collaborative approach creates a supportive environment for professionals seeking both peer connection and teamwork.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active SLP-CCC or eligibility for SLP Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY); SLPA candidates are also encouraged
• Credentials for SLP/SLPA licensure in Florida
• Experience in pediatric, school, or healthcare SLP settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Commitment to in-person therapy and collaboration
• Ability to work effectively with diverse learners and staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech-language communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
• Split and manage caseload collaboratively with SLPAs and SLP partner
• Offer direct therapy services, monitor progress, and document outcomes
• Partner with teachers, caregivers, and educational staff to support each child's full academic participation
• Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school events
