Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students with speech and language needs. This full-time position, starting September 1, invites a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work within a single building near the Cazenovia, NY area. You'll directly enhance communication and learning outcomes for a caseload of 19 students, primarily serving grades K-4, with a few middle schoolers, and the possibility of some supplemental speech improvement services.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure and relevant certifications
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply
  • Experience with pediatric clients, particularly in school-based or teletherapy settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven intervention
  • Excellent collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering student growth and advocating for individualized support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech, language, and communication therapy services for K-4 and select middle school students
  • Manage IEP caseloads, conducting evaluations, creating goals, and documenting progress
  • Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with best practices—on-site and potential teletherapy options
  • Communicate regularly with parents, educators, and staff to support academic success
  • Maintain thorough records and uphold compliance with all district and state regulations
  • Facilitate meetings and offer guidance to families and staff regarding speech-language development
