School Psychologist in Madison, OH

This full-time contract opportunity offers you a chance to deliver essential psychological services across elementary and secondary schools and be a vital resource throughout the academic year, from August 20th to June 4th, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse student populations, including PreK through 12th grade
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Expertise in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to manage caseloads efficiently (up to 125 school-age and 75 preschool students, or a balanced combination)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility to work onsite during elementary hours (8am-3:30pm) or secondary hours (7am-2:30pm)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for educational planning
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Contribute to the development and monitoring of IEPs and 504 Plans
• Support transition planning and crisis intervention processes within the school community
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district and legal requirements
