Job Description
LHH is searching for an HR Generalist to support a manufacturing client in High Point! This role will be contract-to-hire, onsite M-F 8-5 paying $25-30/hr. Must have 2-5 years of HR experience, furniture and/or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
  • Audit employee timesheets
  • Process hourly, salary, and piece rate payroll weekly
  • Manage OSHA and worker's compensation claim process including documentation and communication with providers
  • Organize files and streamline company documentation
  • Update employee handbook
  • Assist with new hire onboarding process
Qualifications:
  • Must have 3-5 years of HR experience, furniture and/or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred
  • Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Client is looking for someone proactive that will take initiative and be a self-starter
  • Experience processing payroll a plus
  • Experience with UKG or other HRIS required
