Assembly Technician V

We are seeking an Assembly Operator V to support fiber optic manufacturing operations. This role involves the assembly, termination, and testing of fiber optic cable and connector products in a cleanroom environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working with small, intricate components while maintaining a strong focus on quality and safety.

• Requirements:
• • 2–5+ years of manufacturing experience
  • Fiber optic manufacturing experience required
  • Experience using electronic testing equipment such as Oscilloscopes, DMMs (Digital Multimeters), and Variable Power Supplies
  • Strong hand-eye coordination with the ability to work on small, delicate components
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and experience operating manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

  • Cleanroom manufacturing experience
  • Experience working in PPE-required environments

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Assemble, terminate, polish, and test fiber optic cables and connector products
• Perform inspections using technical drawings, work instructions, and quality standards
• Operate fiber routing and over-molding equipment
• Support prototype builds, test builds, and new product introductions (NPI)
• Use calipers, gauges, and other measurement tools to ensure product quality
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs
• Complete production documentation and maintain traceability records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while collaborating with the team to meet production goals
