This position is ideal for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), passionate about supporting students’ growth and development.
Assignment Details:
- Dates: August 24, 2026 to June 16, 2027
- Part-time schedule: 6.5 hours each week
- Workdays: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm, including an unpaid 30-minute lunch break
Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required for SLPs)
- Prior experience working in a school setting is highly valued
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with staff, students, and families
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions to address students’ needs
- Document progress and adapt goals as necessary
- Offer consultation and resources to teachers and families
- Contribute to IEP meetings and provide professional recommendations
- Maintain detailed, confidential records in accordance with policies and ethical standards
