Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license or eligibility in Illinois
  • Experience in school-based OT, home health OT, and general healthcare OT settings is preferred
  • Strong background in developing fine and gross motor skills in pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with COTA support in school environments
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt to various educational models

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive OT assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting fine and gross motor skill development
  • Collaborate with educational teams, including COTAs, teachers, and families, to ensure integrated care
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services within school and home health settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district policies
