Responsibilities

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate service logs.
  • Prepare therapy materials and activities tailored to student goals.
  • Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and AAC needs as directed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel to support student success.
  • Assist with screenings, observations, and data collection as permitted by state regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines, including IEP documentation and confidentiality requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
  • Current SLPA license/certification as required by the state.
