Make a meaningful impact in the lives of middle and high school students by providing speech-language services in a dynamic educational environment near West Chester, PA. This full-time contract opportunity spans from August through December, working with 8th and 9th grade students across dedicated grade centers. The schedule follows a 6-day cycle, with in-person hours beginning at 7:30/8:00 am and ending at 2:30/3:00 pm—offering a structured, consistent workday just through the first semester.

Key Qualifications:

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Pennsylvania state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience in school-based settings is highly desirable
  • Strong ability to manage both group and individual sessions effectively
  • Excellent communication and case management skills, especially with IEPs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language therapy for 8th and 9th grade students, both individually and in groups
  • Provide targeted support and interventions aligned with students’ IEPs
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 8-10 speech-only IEP students, ensuring compliance and timely documentation
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff, administrators, and families to foster student progress
  • Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment that supports communication development
