Job Description
Take on a rewarding role supporting elementary students in a dynamic school setting as a School Psychologist. This full-time contract opportunity is located near White Rock, NM, with services provided onsite at two elementary school locations from August 3, 2026, through May 28, 2027. With a consistent Monday through Friday schedule of 35 hours per week, you’ll make a meaningful impact while collaborating closely with teachers and staff.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification and licensure (NM credentials preferred)
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans
- Skilled in supporting staff with classroom and schoolwide behavior management strategies
- Strong background in pre-referral and evaluative assessment activities
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple school sites
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological and behavioral assessments for elementary-aged students
- Develop, monitor, and revise effective behavior intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to promote positive student outcomes
- Provide staff guidance and professional development regarding classroom management
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary evaluations
- Manage support for a diverse caseload, flexibly addressing student needs at two sites
- Maintain timely and compliant documentation for all services rendered
