Registered Respiratory Therapist - Park Hill, Oklahoma
Job Description
Bachelor's degree, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiation Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An immediate opportunity is available for a skilled professional with experience as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a dynamic healthcare team on a vital contract assignment. Step into a critical role managing patients from neonates to adults with acute illnesses and diverse medical needs.
Schedule:
- 3x12 hour night shifts
- 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Qualifications:
- Active NBRC credentials required
- Valid Oklahoma Respiratory License required
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (AHA only)
- NRP certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner Charting preferred
- At least 6 months of recent, relevant experience
- Experience working with a full age spectrum, from neonates to adults
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respiratory care and therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages dealing with acute and complex medical issues
- Respond to emergent situations and provide advanced airway management and resuscitation if necessary
- Administer, monitor, and adjust mechanical ventilation and other respiratory interventions as ordered
- Perform diagnostic respiratory testing and assessments
- Accurately document all care and collaborate with medical staff using Cerner Charting
- Communicate promptly with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Educate patients and loved ones about respiratory treatments and home care needs
