Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active RN license with demonstrated experience in Interventional Radiology
• Strong foundation in imaging protocols, vascular access, and patient monitoring during procedures
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work effectively in collaborative and fast-paced clinical settings
• Commitment to patient safety, comfort, and positive outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with interventional radiology procedures including preparation, imaging, and patient monitoring
• Perform assessments pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, documenting accurately in patient records
• Administer moderate sedation and provide vigilant observation throughout cases
• Utilize advanced imaging technology to support minimally invasive procedures
• Educate patients and families about procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring understanding
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to strict infection control standards
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and other nurses to optimize workflow
• Support post-procedure recovery and discharge planning as needed
