Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (in Texas or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working in education settings or with school-aged children preferred
• Strong understanding of psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and administrators
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and interpret results to inform educational planning
• Provide direct counseling and interventions to students in need of academic, social, or emotional support
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
• Consult with staff regarding behavioral interventions, crisis prevention, and classroom strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, records, and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
