This part-time, on-site opportunity allows you to work directly with kindergarten and first-grade students, providing essential psychological services to a group of approximately 30 children each week. Your expertise will empower students to achieve academic and emotional success, while also collaborating with dedicated educators and families.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid certification and credentials as a school psychologist
  • Experience working with K-1st grade students is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in assessment, counseling, and development of intervention plans
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging students, families, and staff
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and care
  • Adaptable and responsive to the varied needs of young learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide psychological assessment and support for K-1st students on-site
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to address academic, social, and emotional needs
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) as needed
  • Offer counseling and intervention for students requiring additional support
  • Maintain accurate documentation and report progress to key stakeholders
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for the needs of early elementary students
