Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a skilled School Psychologist to support students across two collaborative school communities near Euclid, OH! This dynamic contract role spans both Fairport Harbor and Concord Township, providing a rewarding chance to make a meaningful difference in students’ educational journeys.
In this position, you’ll spend three days a week engaging with K–12 students in Fairport Harbor, gaining exposure to a diverse range of educational needs. You’ll also dedicate one day per week to serving grades 6–12 at a progressive STEM-focused school in Concord Township. An additional day is set aside for remote paperwork, offering some flexibility and work-life balance. Total hours are a steady 35 per week, with the assignment running from August 24th through May 31st.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience with K–12 student populations preferred
- Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff
- Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and IEP processes
- Comfort adapting between in-person and remote/hybrid work environments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students across grade levels
- Provide counseling, consultation, and crisis interventions as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective support plans
- Contribute to IEP and intervention plan development meetings
- Document services and maintain timely, confidential case records
