Job Description

We are seeking a customer-focused and mechanically inclined Service Writer to serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department. This role is responsible for understanding customer concerns, preparing repair estimates, communicating recommendations, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience throughout the service process.


  • Assess customer complaints and gather the necessary information to ensure proper diagnosis and repair.
  • Collaborate with technicians and service personnel to develop repair recommendations and cost estimates.
  • Present repair estimates to customers, explain recommended services, and answer questions regarding repairs, timelines, and costs.
  • Suggest maintenance services and additional repair recommendations when appropriate.
  • Obtain customer approvals for repairs and communicate any changes in scope, pricing, or completion timelines.
  • Monitor repair progress and provide proactive updates to customers throughout the service process.
  • Coordinate scheduling and workflow between customers and the service department.


Compensation:

$23-30/hr

Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
