Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a caseload and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Provide therapy services, both individual and group, to support student development
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to facilitate student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to goal creation and progress monitoring
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
