Job Description
Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This in-person, contract opportunity is located near the beautiful Seaside, CA area and offers a supportive environment where both Clinical Fellows (CFs) and experienced SLPs (CCCs) can thrive.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid CA SLP license or eligibility
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) welcomed; strong supervision available for Clinical Fellows (CF)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
- Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Genuine passion for working with children and school-aged populations
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) targeting student needs
- Deliver direct and indirect therapy services in-person, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress tracking, adhering to district and state standards
- Provide support, training, and resources for educational staff as it relates to speech and language development
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
