Job Description
A rewarding opportunity awaits experienced Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about supporting students and impacting positive communication outcomes. Full-time, in-person contract positions are now available for dedicated professionals with at least two to three years of experience since earning ASHA SLP certification. Openings include two full-time SLP roles as well as three maternity leave coverage positions.
Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable and confident working in school settings, comfortable addressing a diverse range of communication needs, and prepared to lend expertise across a dynamic caseload. Supervision experience is essential, as each SLP will oversee up to three SLPAs—with each SLPA managing up to 55 students.
Qualifications:
- Current SLP certification by ASHA (CCC-SLP) or eligibility (CFY)
- Minimum of 2–3 years post-certification experience in a school environment
- Familiarity with a wide variety of student communication disorders and intervention strategies
- Prior supervisory experience with SLPAs or willingness to provide mentorship and oversight
- Strong understanding of IEP development, progress monitoring, and special education eligibility evaluations
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional speech and language services to K–12 students in collaboration with school teams
- Provide direct and indirect supervision, support, and oversight for up to three SLPAs
- Conduct and document comprehensive evaluations, including initial and re-evaluation assessments
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, presenting data, recommendations, and supporting individualized planning
- Write and update IEPs for assigned students
- Adapt to changing caseload numbers as enrollment and needs fluctuate
