School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Spring, Texas
Job Description
Shape the future for students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, working on-site within a vibrant and supportive Texas school community. This opportunity centers around providing full-time services (37.5 hours per week) during the academic year, from August 12, 2026, to May 28, 2027. With multiple placements open across the north, northeast, and south sides of the district, you’ll primarily be assigned to one school site, though some itinerant roles are possible.
Candidates with a passion for helping children succeed and who are open to working with a range of ages and caseloads (to be determined) will find this a rewarding and exciting role. Clinical Fellows are welcome, making this a fantastic environment for both new graduates and experienced clinicians.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Texas
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and school sites
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual student needs
- Provide direct therapy, consultation, and support to students, families, and staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborative problem-solving with multidisciplinary teams
- Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment
