Project ManagerCala Consulting are recruiting a Project Manager for their award-winning client. The company d eliver bespoke projects for a wide range of clients throughout the UK and Ireland; from blue chip big names to smaller independent companies.The role will involve taking instruction from and reporting to the Contracts Manager on a wide range of projects across retail, hospitality, commercial and heritage sectors and working alongside the Site Management teams.Responsibilities and DutiesThe candidate will assist the Contract and Site management teams and will be responsible for:Assisting with the planning and implementation of projectsDefining a projects scope and goalsPlanning and scheduling project timelinesCoordinating project staffResource planning and allocationQuality assuranceAssisting the SHEQ Manager to ensure all works are being carried out safelyAttending Site to complete Progress Reports and update Health and Safety reportsManaging project administration, including all documentationEnsuring works are being completed within budgetReporting regularly to senior managementManaging client relationshipsTracking project performanceProject evaluations and results measurementEssential Criteria:Achieved BSc (Hons) in Construction Management or similar degreeMust have a minimum of 5 years experience in a Project Management roleAbility to work under pressureAbility to work to tight deadlines whilst juggling several different tasksExcellent written and verbal communication skillsConfidence, self-motivation, and a strong work ethicA desire to obtain a working knowledge of a wide range of contractsGood numeracy and IT skills, especially in MS Office and an ability to learn specialist software packagesSalary and BenefitsSalary Negotiable pending experienceCompetitive Pension schemePrivate Medical Insurance Scheme (after one years service)Additional holidays pending length of service.Death in Service benefitTeam Building ActivitiesTraining and development opportunitiesTPBN1_UKTJ
