As Vendor Manager you will be providing the strategic bridge between the IS dapertment the their partners who whlep to deliver their digital experience.PURPOSE OF THE ROLEYou will be the go-to person for managing third party Supplier reationshipsYour main goal would be to ensure thier contracts and vendor arrangements are working effectively at all times.Working with external legal support to esnure all contracts fauirly reflect the needs of the client.KEY TASKS/ACCOUNTABILITIESBuilding and running processes for the managment of technical vendorsKeeping an eye on supplier performance and providing reports with clear insightsSorting out any vendor issues such as PO's, Delivery delays or SLA slipsProviding support to the IS Team to improve at managing vendors themselves through training and best practicesReviewing contracts and ensuring best value at all timesESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCEA solid background in tech-focused Vendor ManagementExcellent knowledge of Excel and Word to handle data and reporting requirementsHave the ability to break down complex problems and present solutions simply and effectivelyBe comfortable working with senior leader and different teams across the businessPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:You will be a team player who is motivated by resultsPossess a thorough, inquisitive and innovative way of thinkingMaintain resilience under pressure and manage multiple tasks at onceExcellent communication and written skills.We have been recruiting for this client for many years and have always received excellent feedback from placed candidates who tell us that the company offer excellent work conditions and opportunities as well as a competitive benefits package.
