Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Process Operative at our Minsterley site within the Muller Yogurts and Desserts business unit.The purpose of this role is to operate and run the designated plant, achieve daily operations targets and maintain GMP standards within the process department.Contract : Permanent, Full time contractLocation: Minsterley (Shrewsbury)Shifts: 12 hour shifts, 4 on 4 off, days and nights, 6am-6pm / 6pm-6amSalary: £32,011per annum plus x1.5 overtime rateAs a Process Operative the key responsibilities will include:Delivering the daily production planOperating plant/equipment and carrying out routine basic maintenanceAchieving daily KPI targetsWorking with Key Operators to carry out start up procedures, ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout productionEnsuring an effective hand over between shifts, remaining on line until relief takes overMonitoring product quality, highlighting non-conformance and taking appropriate corrective actionEnsuring SIC and Quality information is accurate, complete and timelyCompleting all documentation, ensuring its up to date and availableTraining operators, ensuring competence to perform allocated jobsLeading by example encouraging appropriate behavioural standards in support of Company values and cultureComplying with food safety requirements, effectively control CCPs and adhere to site quality proceduresMaintaining Line/Area GMP standards looking to constantly improveTake reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others that may be affected by their acts or omissionsTo carry out any other duties that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructedActively promote and comply with all Company Policies, Procedures and ValuesKey skills & experience:A proven mechanical aptitudePrevious machine experience from within a fast moving production environment is desirableRight first time (produces product to the required standard minimizing finished goods waste)Experience with controlling material lossesConfident with adherence to Standards (GMP)Experience with H&S Statistics (e.g. Accidents and Near Misses)Confident with teamwork & collaborationA flexible approach; able to adapt to changing daily production plansA good listener/communicatorAble to demonstrate initiative and prioritisation skillsBenefits:A competitive salary, monthly paidx2 Life Assurance5% Bonus282 Hours Annual HolidayAccess an exclusive rewards platformCompany PensionAccess to the Mller Rewards discount scheme offering over 800 discounts online and in-store and the potential to make savings across grocery and clothes shopping, holidays, insurance, gifts and moreHave pride in what you achieve as a member of a teamFree onsite secured colleague car parkingAt Mller, we're committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone feels they belong.
