Groundworker

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a well-established contractor carrying out repairs and maintenance works to social housing domestic properties across Daventry.\n
\nThis is an ongoing temporary role offering regular work with the opportunity to join a busy team delivering high-quality external groundworks and property maintenance projects.\n
\nThe role involves working on occupied and void social housing properties across Daventry, carrying out a variety of external groundworks to improve and maintain domestic properties.\n
Key Responsibilities:\n
\n

\n
• Carry out slabbing, paving, and pathway repairs
\n
• Complete bricklaying repairs including walls, steps, and boundary works
\n
• Install and repair kerbing
\n
• Undertake drainage repairs and install new drainage where required
\n
• Carry out general groundworks and site preparation
\n
• Excavate and reinstate areas using hand tools and small plant
\n
• Complete concrete repairs and associated groundwork tasks
\n
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard within occupied domestic properties
\n
• Work safely and effectively while maintaining a clean and tidy work area
\n
• Liaise professionally with tenants and site management throughout the works
\n

Requirements:\n
\n

\n
• To have your own van
\n
• To have your own tools
\n
• Previous experience working as a Groundworker
\n
• Experience in slabbing, bricklaying, kerbing, drainage, and general groundworks
\n
• Experience working within social housing or domestic properties is desirable
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
