HGV Class 2 Driver - Temp to Perm

SR Drivers are recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Coventry (CV5).

This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity offering Monday to Friday day shifts, no weekend work, and the chance to secure a permanent role after 12 weeks.

What You'll Be Doing

\n
• Multi-drop deliveries across England, Wales and parts of Scotland
\n
• 117 deliveries per day
\n
• Loading and unloading when required
\n
• Completing delivery paperwork and daily vehicle checks
\n
• Providing a professional service to customers
\n

Requirements

\n
• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving experience
\n
• Confident driving a manual rigid vehicle
\n
• Valid CPC, Digital Tachograph Card and HGV Class 2 licence
\n
• Reliable, professional and customer focused
\n

Pay & Benefits

\n
• £14.50 per hour PAYE
\n
• £16.25 per hour including 12.07% holiday pay
\n
• Temp to Perm
\n
• £19.22 per hour after 12 weeks (permanent)
\n
• Monday to Friday day shifts
\n
• No weekend work
\n
• Weekly PAYE pay whilst temporary
\n
• M6 Toll expenses covered (authorised journeys)
\n
• £25 night out allowance - if required to night out once a week
\n
• Assigned regular vehicle
\n
• Driver equipment provided
\n
