\nThisis an exciting opportunity to join our clients Gateway Repairs Team delivering essential electrical repairs, maintenanceand installation services across our housing stock. You will play a key role in ensuring our residents homes are safe, compliantand well maintained, while providing excellent customer service. \nRolepurpose
\nTo deliver high-quality electrical installation, repair and maintenance services that ensure safe, compliantand well-maintained homes for theirresidents.
\nWhatstherole?
\nKey Accountabilities:
\n- \n
- Carry out electrical installation,repairand maintenance work within occupied and void properties, including inspection and testing EICRs \n
\n
- \n
- Deliver works from a pre-allocated appointment system, ensuring efficiency andhigh standards \n
\n
- \n
- Completeaccuratereports using both paperwork and handheld devices \n
\n
- \n
- Work closely with the Team Leader, escalating issues or concerns whenrequired \n
\n
- \n
- Ensure all work is compliant with current health & safety regulations \n
Whataretheylookingfor?
\nEssential:
\n- \n
- Experience working in a similar electrical role within repairs and maintenance \n
\n
- \n
- Strong understanding of health & safety regulations \n
\n
- \n
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate empathetically \n
\n
- \n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team \n
\n
- \n
- Good organisational and reporting skills (including use of handheld devices) \n
\n
- \n
- Full, clean UK driving licence \n
\n
- \n
- Willingness tomaintaina satisfactory basic DBS check \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- 18th Edition (orworking towards 18th) \n
\n
- \n
- NVQ Level 3 (2356 / 2357) \n
\n
- \n
- 2360 / 2330 / 2365 or Part 1 & 2 \n
\n
- \n
- 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing \n
Desirable:
\n- \n
- AM2 qualification \n
\n
- \n
- Experience within the housing sector \n
\n
- \n
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel) \n
