Your new companyHays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Blackpool to recruit a dedicated Year 5 Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join a supportive school environment where high-quality teaching and learning are at the heart of everything they do.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons to a Year 5 class, helping pupils to build confidence, develop key skills and achieve their full potential as they prepare for the transition into upper Key Stage 2.Your new roleAs a Year 5 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • \n
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
  • \n
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, implementing strategies to support achievement.
  • \n
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents to support learning and development.
  • \n
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and school improvement initiatives.
  • \n
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, attainment and personal development.
  • \n

What you'll need to succeed

    \n
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • \n
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • \n
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to motivate, inspire and engage learners of varying abilities.
  • \n
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • \n
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • \n
