Retail Programme Delivery Director - 18 Month FTC

• Lead the strategic delivery of transformation in Retail Banking
\n
• Own end-to-end delivery across onboarding, everyday banking, lending, liquidity and assisted channels, aligning teams around customer outcomes
\n
• Translate programme strategy into clear priorities, deliverables and launch readiness criteria
\n
• Partner with Technology, Data and Product teams to shape target architecture, platform capabilities and migration approach
\n
• Ensure data requirements are governed and delivered to support migration, automation, reporting and operational readiness
\n
• Drive digital enablement, straight-through processing and automation to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
\n
• Establish robust governance, reporting and decision‑making frameworks, providing transparency on progress, risks and dependencies
\n
• Lead engagement with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Audit and regulatory stakeholders to ensure launch readiness and control effectiveness
\n
• Lead and inspire cross‑functional teams, fostering a customer‑focused, accountable and collaborative delivery culture
\n
• Oversee risk management, testing, implementation, vendor performance and the controlled transition into BAU operations
\n

• Excellent Retail and business banking knowledge and understanding
\n
• In‑depth knowledge of banking regulations
\n
• Extensive experience of running and managing large scale transformation programmes
\n
• Excellent senior stakeholder management and relationship building skills
\n
• Ability to bring multiple stakeholders, teams and colleagues on a remediation journey
\n
• Skilled in working cross‑functionally to achieve business goals
