Ofsted Registered Manager – Children's Residential (EBD) Location: Waltham Forest, E10 Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum AA Euro Healthcare is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager for a brand-new 3-bed Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) Children's Home in Waltham Forest. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing a new service from the ground up, leading a dedicated team and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive. The Role As Registered Manager, you will have full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care while maintaining compliance with all Ofsted regulations and statutory requirements. Responsibilities Lead the registration and opening of the new children's home. Recruit, develop and lead a high-performing staff team. Ensure outstanding safeguarding practices are embedded throughout the service. Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards. Manage budgets, staffing and operational performance. Build positive relationships with local authorities and external professionals. Develop individualised care plans that achieve positive outcomes for young people. Drive continuous improvement with the aim of achieving an 'Outstanding' Ofsted rating. Requirements Previous experience managing an Ofsted-regulated children's residential home. Strong understanding of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards). Demonstrable leadership and people management experience. Excellent knowledge of safeguarding legislation.
