Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) EngineerC£65,000CardiffMC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join a modern Energy from Waste facility in Cardiff.This role will involve leading the electrical, control and instrumentation maintenance function, ensuring maximum plant availability, planning and delivering maintenance activities, and supervising a team of technicians within a highly regulated process environment.As a (EC&I) Engineer, you will be responsible for:As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer, you will be responsible for:Leading the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation maintenance function across the Energy from Waste plant.Planning, coordinating and delivering preventative and reactive maintenance activities to maximise plant availability.Managing planned outages and supporting unplanned shutdowns to minimise downtime.Maintaining and fault-finding on HV/LV electrical systems, Distributed Control Systems (DCS), instrumentation and associated plant equipment.Supervising Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians, apprentices and specialist contractors.Managing the EC&I workshop and ensuring maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently and within budget.Other duties as requiredTo be considered for this role you should have:ONC/HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or a related discipline.Experience working within Energy from Waste, power generation, process manufacturing or another heavy industrial environment.Strong knowledge of electrical maintenance, instrumentation, control systems and preventative maintenance techniques.Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as Siemens, Valmet or similar.This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading business with huge growth potential.The offer:The package on offer for this role includesA salary up to £65,000 depending on experiencePension SchemeHolidaysOther benefitsTo apply:If you are interested in this role please apply via the link below or contact Machaela at MC Technical Recruitment on 01489533030 / for a confidential chat.TPBN1_UKTJ
