Job Title: Driver Labourer - Social HousingLocation: Covering the North WestPay Rate: £17.85 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)Contract: Temp-to-PermStart Date: ImmediateOverviewWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Driver Labourer to join a well-established social housing contractor based in Warrington. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with experience working within the social housing sector, carrying out rip-outs and strip-out works in both tenanted and void properties across the North West.A company van and fuel card will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out kitchen and bathroom rip-outs in tenanted and void social housing properties.Remove existing fixtures, fittings, units, flooring, and associated materials safely and efficiently.Load, transport, and dispose of waste materials in line with company procedures.Support tradespeople on site as required.Ensure all work is completed safely while maintaining high standards of housekeeping.Work respectfully in occupied properties, minimising disruption to tenants.Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies.RequirementsPrevious experience working within social housing is essential.Experience carrying out kitchen and bathroom rip-outs.Full UK Driving Licence - essential.Valid CSCS Card.Valid Asbestos Awareness certificate.Valid Manual Handling certificate.Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites.Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team.What's on Offer£17.85 per hour (PAYE Umbrella).Company van and fuel card provided.Temp-to-perm opportunity with a reputable social housing contractor.Immediate start available.Ongoing work across the North West.To ApplyPlease call Lucy at Building Careers on 01695 556800 or 07897 069193 .This position may not be for you, but feel free to get in touch for a confidential chat about other opportunities.Building Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and operates as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
