WERE HIRING PROPERTY INVENTORY CLERKSOakley Jane is expanding, and we are looking for reliable, professional and detail-focused Property Inventory Clerks to join our team.Opportunities are available on either an employed or self-employed basis , with full-time and part-time positions considered.Recruitment areasWe are recruiting applicants based in or within approximately a 20-mile radius of:OxfordThis broadly includes:Oxford area: Abingdon, Oxford Town Centre, Headington, Summertown, East Oxford, Kidlington, Bicester, Witney, Woodstock, Eynsham, Wheatley, Thame, Didcot, Carterton and surrounding villages .Pay and working arrangementsEmployed positions:Salary of £35,000 per year for full-time rolesMileage contribution providedCompany iPad and required working equipment suppliedFull training and ongoing supportSalary and working arrangements for part-time employed positions will be adjusted according to the agreed working pattern.Self-employed positions:Paid per completed jobCompany iPad and required working equipment suppliedFull training and ongoing supportFull-time and part-time availability consideredA minimum number of completed appointments will be required, depending on whether the position is full-time or part-time.The roleThe role involves travelling to residential properties and completing:Property inventoriesInventory and check-insCheck-out reportsProperty inspections and interim visitsKey handoversDaily responsibilities will include:Inspecting and accurately documenting the condition of residential propertiesTaking clear and comprehensive photographsRecording keys and meter readings where requiredIdentifying damage, cleanliness concerns and maintenance issuesMeeting tenants, landlords and letting agents professionallyProducing accurate, impartial and detailed reportsManaging appointments and submitting completed work within the required deadlinesWhat were looking forExcellent attention to detailExcellent written and spoken EnglishStrong communication and report-writing skillsProfessional and confident when meeting tenants, landlords and letting agentsReliable, organised and able to manage appointments effectivelyAble to work independently and meet reporting deadlinesComfortable using an iPad and mobile reporting softwareA full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehiclePrevious property inventory, inspection or lettings experience would be beneficial, but full training can be provided to the right applicants .The role is physically active and involves walking throughout properties, using stairs, bending, opening cupboards and taking photographs at different heights.Appointments take place Monday to Saturday , with the first appointments normally beginning at 9:00am and the latest appointments starting at approximately 5:00pm , depending on the service and size of the property.Working days, appointment volumes and minimum job requirements will depend on whether the successful applicant works on a full-time or part-time basis.All applicants will be DBS checked.About Oakley JaneOakley Jane provides a professional, friendly and helpful property inventory service for letting agents, landlords and tenants.As Executive Members of the AIIC, we benefit from full public liability and professional indemnity insurance.We pride ourselves on the quality, accuracy and reliability of our work and are proud to work with many of the leading letting agents across our region.Your application should include:Your home postcodeWhether you are interested in an employed or self-employed positionWhether you are looking for full-time or part-time workYour preferred working days and hoursConfirmation that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicleDetails of any relevant property, inspection or inventory experienceYour earliest available start datePlease share this opportunity with anyone who may be suitable.TPBN1_UKTJ
