About the role\n- \n
- Be the Quality Assurance lead for the site, ensuring site standards for BRCGS and customer codes of practices. \n
- Liaise with Production, H&S, Hygiene and Engineering Managers to ensure the same standard of operation across all shifts. \n
- Oversee the internal auditing program to ensure all reported non-conformances are closed out in a timing manner. \n
- BRCGS and customer non-conformances are closed out in full in a timely manner \n
- Traceability documentation is completed in full and verified. \n
- Be a core member of the HACCP, VACCP and TACCP teams. \n
- To be the technical lead for site tours during BRCGS and customer audits/ visits. \n
- To approve technically new product development and projects. \n
- To work cross functionally with Group technical departments. \n
- To conduct technical training and briefings to internal departments. \n
- Technical department budget controls \n
- To cover for the Hygiene Manager during absences \n
- To deputise for the Technical Manager during absences \n
- \n
- Strong knowledge of:\n

- Food safety legislation \n
- Quality management systems \n
- Internal and external auditing \n
- Traceability and compliance requirements \n

- Ability to influence and drive standards across multiple departments. \n
- Strong stakeholder management skills. \n
- Confidence leading customer and certification audits. \n
- Comfortable presenting to internal and external audiences. \n
- Experience training and coaching teams. \n

- Detail-oriented and highly organised. \n
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. \n
- Strong prioritisation and delegation skills. \n
- Resilient and able to challenge standards when necessary. \n

Hours of Work
\nMonday Friday. Flexibility required covering AM &PM shifts
