HR Administrator (Business Improvement)
Job Description
Permanent, Full time (35 hours per week)
\nSalary £26,133 per annum
\nWe are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and dynamic HR Administrator to join our HR Department.
\nAre you passionate about improving systems, processes and data?
\nAs part of the HR Business Improvement team, you will play a key role in maintaining, developing and enhancing our shared HR, Payroll and Finance system (CiAnywhere), helping to deliver efficient, compliant and customer-focused HR services across the Conservatoire. You'll have the opportunity to review existing processes, identify opportunities for enhancement and help deliver solutions that strengthen system functionality, improve data quality and streamline ways of working. You'll also produce meaningful management information and statutory returns, ensuring data is accurate, reliable and supports informed decision making. By maintaining high standards of data integrity and supporting compliance with GDPR and wider data governance requirements, you'll make a real contribution to the continuous development of our HR services.
\nWe're looking for someone with experience in HR administration, HR systems, business improvement or a similar administrative role, supported by a relevant qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience. You'll have a good understanding of HR systems and processes and recognise how technology, data and continuous improvement can enhance the delivery of HR services. You will be an excellent communicator who builds positive working relationships, earns trust through a professional and collaborative approach, and enjoys supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals. We're seeking someone who is proactive, curious and committed to finding better ways of working.
\nIf you're a CIPD member, have experience of implementing HR, Payroll or Finance systems, or have worked within the arts, education or conservatoire sector, that's an added bonus. However, these aren't essential. We're interested in your potential as much as your experience, so if you have the skills, curiosity and enthusiasm to make a positive contribution, we'd love to hear from you. If you're looking to build a career in Human Resources, we'll support your development through coaching, on the job learning and opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills.
\nWhether you've gained your experience in higher education or another sector, if you can demonstrate the skills, behaviours and values we're looking for, we encourage you to apply by selecting the s1jobs apply button.
\nClosing date for applications: Monday 10th August 2026
