Production Operative / Assembly

Contract Personnel are currently recruiting for our well-established client based in Thetford. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy manufacturing company as an Assembly Operative.

This is a manufacturing role – not a food factory.

Working in a manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for assembling greenhouses from manufacturing drawings. Working from these drawings, you will manufacture components to the correct size and specification.

Your duties will include:

• Assembling greenhouse components from technical drawings.
\n
• Cutting frames to the required length.
\n
• Punching holes and preparing components for assembly.
\n
• Using a variety of basic hand tools, including drills, hammers, hand saws, and screwdrivers.
\n
• Carrying out any other duties as required by the client.
\n

• A good work ethic and a positive attitude.
\n
• Good attention to detail.
\n
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
\n
• Previous assembly experience is desirable.
\n
• Previous metal manufacturing or fabrication experience would be an advantage.
\n

• £12.71 per hour.
\n
• Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 3:15 pm.
\n
• Ongoing full-time work.
\n
