Financial Controller | Tadcaster | Up to £70,000 | Hybrid

You'll be joining a growing business based in Tadcaster as their Financial Controller, taking full ownership of the finance function and working directly with senior leadership. It's a role built for someone who wants to be in the room, not just sent the minutes afterwards.

What you'll be doing:

• Owning the monthly management accounts process
\n
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and cashflow
\n
• Managing year-end accounts and the external audit
\n
• Strengthening financial controls and reporting
\n
• Overseeing statutory reporting and tax submissions
\n
• Business partnering with senior leadership across the business
\n
• Driving process improvements as the business grows
\n
• Supervising and developing the wider finance team
\n

What they're looking for:

\n
• Previous experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role
\n
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or qualified by experience
\n
• Strong technical accounting background
\n
• Comfortable working hands-on and getting close to the detail
\n
• Confidence influencing people outside of finance
\n
