Manual Machinist

Trident Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Manual Machinist to join a well-established precision engineering company based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Manual Turner or Manual Miller looking to join a stable business offering an excellent hourly rate, a great work-life balance, and long-term career prospects. The Role * Operating manual lathes and/or milling machines * Manufacturing one-off and small batch precision components * Working from detailed engineering drawings to tight tolerances * Carrying out manual machining operations including turning, milling, drilling and boring * Inspecting finished components to ensure they meet quality standards * Maintaining a clean and safe working environment * Working independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience as a Manual Turner, Manual Miller, or Manual Machinist * Strong manual machining skills within a precision engineering environment * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience working to tight tolerances * Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality What's on Offer * Up to £23.00 per hour * Permanent day shift * Monday to Friday working pattern * 39-hour working week * 33 days paid holiday * Overtime opportunities * Long-term, secure position with a growing precision engineering business * Immediate interviews available If you're an experienced Manual Turner, Manual Miller, or Manual Machinist looking for your next opportunity in Glasgow, we'd love to hear from you
