It's the spirit we share with the people that fly with us, our partners, and our colleagues.So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in far-flung places, a job at British Airways is yours to make.We know great things can happen when you're inspired to think big and bring your ambition to work every day, which is why, at British Airways the sky is never the limit.The role: Cyber Threat LeadThis role reports to the Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager, working with IAG and BA business to ensure BA is identifying, understanding and responding to cyber threats and emerging vulnerabilities.What you'll do:Leading the effort to identify and report cyber threats relevant to British Airways, covering both tactical and strategic requirementsTechnical leader for cyber threat identification across BASupport the Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager in active threat management for BA, ensuring timely, specific, and relevant cyber threat information is available to enable decision makingEngage with IAG group peers, the wider aviation industry and UK critical infrastructure and government bodies such as NCSCManage and deliver on threat intelligence requirements and end to end intelligence lifecycleEngage collaboratively and pragmatically with BA/IAG stakeholders to undertake cyber threat assessments, supporting cyber control decision makingLeverage available and opensource feeds and tools, to track the cyber threats that BA faces and produce finished intelligence products for stakeholders across the organisationSupport the Cyber Threat Intelligence and Cyber Incident Managers during cyber incident response activitiesSupport the implementation of the broader BA/IAG Cyber StrategyWhat you'll bring to British Airways:Highly analytical, demonstrating a methodical and structured approach with high attention to detailGood communicator, taking complex technical issues and making them approachable to all stakeholdersExperience in threat modelling using frameworks such as STRIDE, PASTA, attack trees (Desirable)Ability to remain calm and prioritise under pressureUnderstanding of incident response methodologyStrong understanding of actor methodology including their tactics, techniques and proceduresYour experience:Holding or working towards relevant cyber intelligence certifications e.g., SANS/GIAC (FOR578, FOR589), CREST CPTIA/CRTIADemonstrable experience in threat intelligence gathering, analysis and reportingExperienced in the use of MITRE ATT&CK, Lockheed Martin Killchain, Diamond model etcUnderstanding of aviation, transport, or critical infrastructure threat landscape (Desirable)Experience in tracking adversary infrastructure through open source or Netflow data (Desirable)What we offer:We believe that all the people who work with us should feel valued for the part they play.
