This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation for delivering complex projects across the data centre, defence and energy sectors. If you're an experienced Project Planner, Planning Engineer or Construction Planner with a background in major construction projects, we'd like to hear from you. The Role Reporting to the Project Director and senior project team, you'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing construction programmes throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with project managers, engineers and site teams, you'll ensure programmes remain accurate, achievable and aligned with project delivery objectives. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain detailed construction programmes using Primavera P6, MS Project or ASTA Powerproject * Produce baseline programmes and live construction schedules * Monitor site progress and update programmes accordingly * Analyse critical path, float, delays and programme risks * Produce look-ahead programmes, progress reports and planning updates * Support project teams with programme recovery plans and "what-if" scenario analysis * Manage programme baselining, change control and schedule integrity * Collaborate with project managers, engineers and commercial teams to support successful project delivery * Provide planning support during tender and pre-construction phases, including logistics and sequencing * Assist with delay analysis, extensions of time and programme records where required * Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and reporting standards About the Project You'll initially be based on a major hyperscale data centre development near Hayes. The project includes: Multiple state-of-the-art data halls High and medium voltage electrical infrastructure Energy centres and backup power generation Extensive civil engineering and external works Associated office and visitor facilities This is a long-term, high-profile development offering exposure to one of the UK's fastest-growing construction sectors.
