Infrastructure EngineerLocation: Hessle Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + Excellent Benefits + Ongoing Training & Career Development Are you an experienced IT professional looking for a role where you'll work with modern technologies, contribute to infrastructure projects and continue developing your technical expertise? We're working with a successful and well-established manufacturing business to recruit an Infrastructure Engineer to join their internal IT team. Supporting a multi-site operation, you'll play a key role in maintaining and developing the organisation's infrastructure, ensuring critical systems remain secure, reliable and fit for the future. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys technical variety, thrives on solving complex infrastructure challenges and wants to be involved in projects that make a genuine difference to the business.The Role Working as part of an experienced infrastructure team, you'll be responsible for supporting, maintaining and enhancing the organisation's IT environment, while contributing to a range of infrastructure and business improvement projects. Your responsibilities will include:\n

- Providing 2nd and 3rd line support for infrastructure-related issues \n
- Administering and maintaining Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments \n
- Supporting Azure cloud services and hybrid infrastructure \n
- Managing VMware virtual environments and on-premise servers \n
- Monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure, firewalls and security solutions \n
- Supporting infrastructure upgrades, migrations and new technology implementations \n
- Producing and maintaining technical documentation \n
- Working closely with colleagues across the wider IT function to deliver secure, reliable and resilient IT services \n
- Identifying opportunities to improve performance, security and operational efficiency \n

- Previous experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in a 2nd or 3rd line capacity \n
- A strong understanding of Microsoft server and cloud technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 \n
- Experience working with virtualised environments, networking and infrastructure technologies, with exposure to Azure, VMware or SQL Server being advantageous \n
- A proactive approach to troubleshooting, infrastructure improvements and technical project work \n
- The ability to communicate technical information clearly with both technical and non-technical colleagues \n
- A genuine enthusiasm for technology and a desire to continue developing your infrastructure knowledge \n

- Salary of £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience \n
