SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Rossendale
\nFull Time | Long-Term Opportunity | September Start
\nVeritas Education are currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Rossendale who are seeking a dedicated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
\nThis rewarding role will involve supporting pupils with additional needs both on a 1:1 basis and within small groups, helping them to access learning, develop confidence and thrive within the classroom environment.
The Role\n- \n
- Providing tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs \n
- Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies \n
- Supporting learning, communication and social development \n
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement throughout the school day \n
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to help them achieve their full potential \n
- \n
- Has previous experience working with children with SEN in a school, care or support setting \n
- Is patient, nurturing and adaptable \n
- Has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs \n
- Can work effectively as part of a wider school team \n
- Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience (desirable but not essential) \n
