Job Title: Global Warehouse & Logistics LeaderLocation: GloucesterPay Rate: Negotiable via PAYEContract length: 12 MonthsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Global Warehouse & Logistics Leader to own end-to-end warehouse, distribution, and shipping performance across our global network. This role will drive Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost outcomes while standardizing best practices, optimizing inventory flows, and enabling reliable on-time delivery to customers and internal stakeholders.You will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Quality, and IT, and champion continuous improvement and digital tools across all sites.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership & Network DesignDevelop and execute the global warehouse and logistics strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plansDesign and optimize the global distribution network (warehouses, transportation modes, stocking locations and shipment process)Establish global standards for layout, material flow, inventory handling, and packagingOperations Management & PerformanceOwn performance of global warehouses and logistics operations against SQDC metricsImplement standard processes for receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and reverse logisticsEnsure robust daily management and escalation routines to address issues and protect customer deliveryPeople LeadershipWork with a global team of warehouse, logistics, and despatch operatorsBuild a culture of respect, safety, accountability, and continuous improvementProvide coaching and development plans for successful deliverablePartner with site leaders to align local execution with global strategyContinuous Improvement & DigitalizationDrive continuous improvement using Lean, problem-solving, and standard workLead deployment and optimization of ERP capabilities and related digital tools (scanning, automation, analytics dashboards)Identify and implement productivity, space utilization, and cost reduction opportunitiesUse data and analytics to improve network performance, routing, and inventory flowsCompliance, Safety & Risk ManagementEnsure regulatory, trade compliance, and customs requirements are met across all regionsMaintain world-class EHS standards in all warehouse operationsOversee logistics provider governance, including contract adherence and performance reviewsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field10+ years of progressive experience in warehousing, distribution, and logistics, with at least 5 years in a global or multi-site leadership roleProven track record managing medium-scale warehouse operationsDemonstrated success improving service, cost, and inventory performance in complex supply chainsStrong expertise with ERP systems and data-driven decision makingExperience leading cross-functional global teams and driving change across cultures and regionsExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skillsExperience implementing or upgrading WMS/TMS solutions and automation (e.g., AS/RS, conveyors, robotics)Background managing international logistics, customs, and trade complianceIf you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
