Working within our Growth & Innovation Directorate, you will lead the development of high-quality bids, tenders and funding proposals, helping to secure the resources and partnerships needed to expand our reach and support more clients.It's an exciting time to join us as we continue to deliver our ambitious five-year strategy and digital transformation journey. You'll have the opportunity to help shape the future of the charity, embracing innovative ways of working and using digital tools to maximise our impact.What youll be doingAs a Bid Manager, you will take ownership of the development and submission of high-quality funding bids, tenders and contract opportunities that support the charity's growth ambitions. Working across the charity, you will bring together expertise from multiple teams to create compelling, evidence-based proposals that demonstrate our impact, capability and value.You will manage the full bid lifecycle, from assessing opportunities and coordinating contributions through to submission and post-bid review. A key focus of the role will be supporting major funding opportunities, including government bids and tenders, ensuring all submissions are strategically aligned and commercially competitive.Collaboration is central to this role. You'll build strong relationships with stakeholders across the charity as well as external funders, commissioners and partners, helping to develop future opportunities and strengthen our funding pipeline.You will also drive continuous improvement by analysing bid performance, maintaining accurate records and supporting the successful transition of new contracts and funding agreements into delivery.National travel and attendance at external meeting/events will be required with occasional overnight stays along with frequent travel to our Leeds office.About YouYou are an experienced bid professional who can turn complex information into compelling funding propositions and build strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. You'll combine strategic thinking, excellent communication skills and a results-focused mindset to help secure opportunities that support our growth and maximise our impact.Proven experience leading successful bids, tenders or funding applications, with the ability to manage the process from opportunity identification through to submission.Excellent written communication skills, able to develop persuasive, evidence-based proposals that clearly demonstrate impact, value for money and organisational capabilityStrong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the confidence to engage, influence and coordinate contributions from colleagues at all levels.Highly organised, analytical and deadline-driven, with the ability to assess opportunities, manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environmentEquality, diversity, and inclusionEquality, diversity, and inclusion are incredibly important to us; we have a culture of belonging.
