Senior Quantity Surveyor

*Candidates must be British nationals and be able to gain both BPSS and SC Clearance*Senior Quantity SurveyorLocation: Govan 5 days per weekRate: £500 - £550 p/dDuration:Our client is a leading engineering and design consultancy who require a Senior QS to join their team based onsite at BAE Govan Shipyard.Responsibilities:Contract AdministrationEarly Warning review/ response as instructed by Contract ManagerCompensation Event Notification responses including reviewing entitlement, estimating cost impactsChairing commercial meetings set up to review Compensation Events/ payment certification collectivelyReviewing, assessing and implementing all Compensation Events (via CEMAR Contract Admin tool)Responsible for assessing the Contractors interim Application for Payment and certifying paymentOn-site measurement of works complete (including review of plant and equipment on-site)Leading on assessing the impact of revised accepted ProgrammesSubmit monthly accrual figures to BAE financeMaintain, update and issue monthly forecasts to BAE financeIdentify trends and forward costs pressure to the Contracts Manager for the internal reporting purposesQualifications/Experience:Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.Professional membership or working toward chartered status with a recognized body (e.g., MRICS, CIOB, AIQS, SACQSP, or an equivalent professional institution7–10+ years of quantity surveying experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior role.Strong NEC experience is essentialCEMAR fluencyFor more information, please contact Scarlet Wilson.TPBN1_UKTJ
