This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build experience in education or special needs support.Key Responsibilities of a 1:1 SEN Intervention Assistant:Targeted Intervention: Deliver one-to-one support tailored to the student's specific needs-whether they are related to learning, social development, or behaviour.Lesson Adaptation: Assist in planning and delivering lessons or activities that are accessible, engaging, and adapted to the student's individual learning style and pace.Monitoring & Feedback: Track the student's progress and regularly share observations with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure effective support is in place.Emotional Support: Create a safe, nurturing environment that encourages emotional resilience, confidence, and independence.Collaborative Support: Work as part of a wider team-including teaching staff, SENCO, and parents-to implement consistent strategies that promote development and inclusion.What We're Looking For:Empathy & Patience: A calm and understanding approach to supporting children with additional needs, particularly during moments of difficulty.Adaptability: A flexible mindset that recognises and responds to the unique challenges and strengths of each child.Clear Communicator: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.Competitive Daily Rate: £90-£95 per dayLocation: SloughSchedule: Full time - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pmIf you're ready to start a fulfilling and impactful role as a 1:1 SEN Intervention Assistant, we'd love to hear from you.
